KAYAKING IN THE JUNGLE OF THE PANAMA CANAL

Explore the enchanting landscape of the jungle, embarking on a journey that leads you to a lodge by the shores of Lake Gatun. From there, you will set off on a kayak excursion along the Cano Quebrao River, surrounded by heliconia plants that create the jungle's natural garden. Seeking wildlife will be one of our most thrilling challenges as you breathe in the pure air that envelops us.

DEPARTURE AND RETURN

We depart from Gamboa Public Dock at 8:00 am and we are back at the dock at 2:30 pm

EXCURSION RATES

min. 2 persons - $150/adult and $95/child (price per person)

3 to 5 persons -$135/adult and $80/child (price per person)

6 or more persons - $110/adult and $65/ child (price per person)


* Because of the nature of this tour, we can only accept children aged 3 and over. 
The child rate applies to children 6-12 years old.
There is no charge for ages 3-5.

Kayaking Adventure in the Jungle of the Panama Canal

Wildlife & Jungle Exploration

You’ll spend 2 to 3 hours on the water, paddling at a relaxed pace with breaks along the way. As we explore hidden streams and quiet corners of the jungle, keep an eye out for:

Tropical birds such as toucans, parrots, and kingfishers
Monkeys swinging through the trees—sometimes playful, sometimes lazy!
Iguanas, turtles, and other reptiles basking in the sun
The occasional caiman or sloth, if you’re lucky!

Depending on the season, early morning mist may cover the lake, adding a magical atmosphere to the experience.

After your kayaking expedition, we return to the lodge, where you can:

🚤 Visit Monkey Island on the way back to the Gamboa dock

At 2:30 PM, we begin our journey back to Gamboa Public Dock, wrapping up an unforgettable day in the Panama jungle.

🌿 Paddle Through the Untouched Wilderness of the Panama Canal

Get ready for a one-of-a-kind jungle kayaking experience, where you’ll explore hidden waterways and untouched rainforest deep in the heart of Gatún Lake. This adventure begins with a scenic 40-minute boat ride from the Gamboa Public Dock, surrounded by breathtaking views of the Panama Canal rainforest.

Upon arrival at our lodge on the shores of Gatún Lake, you’ll board a two-person kayak and paddle along a narrow, winding river that leads deeper into the dense jungle. The air is fresh and pure, and the stillness of the forest creates a feeling of peace and serenity as you glide through this tropical paradise.
